TULSA, Okla. – The No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling teams is set to begin its postseason run this weekend at the Big 12 Championships, held Saturday and Sunday, March 4-5, inside the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
The championship is split into four sessions over two days of competitions. Wrestling will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Session I -11:00 a.m.
Preliminary & Quarterfinal Matches
Session II – 6:00 p.m.
Semifinal & Consolation Quarterfinal Matches
Sunday, March 5
Session III – 8:00 a.m.
Consolation Semifinals, 3rd & 5th Place Matches
Session IV – 1:00 p.m.
The first three sessions of competition will be streamed live on FloWrestling.com. The championship matches will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Oklahoma.
A total of 38 automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in St. Louis will be filled in the Big 12 Championship. The number of allocations per Big 12 weight class are as follows:
OU’S BIG 12 HISTORY
The Sooners will look for their 24th conference championship (third Big 12 championship) and first since 2002. OU has tallied two Big 12 conference crowns, coming in 1999 and 2002. The Sooners have earned 20 individual Big 12 championships.
Last season, the Sooners finished in second place at the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Mo.
Sooners who qualify for the 2017 NCAA Championships will travel to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. Competition is slated for March 16-18.
