Sooners Head East for Pair of Duals

NORMAN — The No. 18 Oklahoma wrestling team hits the mat for the first time in 2018 this week, competing in a pair of duals on the road. The Sooners open Big 12 competition on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT at West Virginia before taking on Pittsburgh on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

Most recently, OU downed Appalachian State, 19-13, in its home opener on Dec. 17 to move to 2-2 on the season.

This weekend’s duals mark OU’s first true road duals of the season. In addition to the home matchup in December, the Sooners have also competed in three neutral-site contests, all taking place at the Journeymen Northeast Duals on Nov. 11.
